This day has six arms.

A highly disciplined schedule of tea, tiny chores, and stopping immediately when it rains.

Local time: tea o’clock

Today’s agendaSubject to snacks

A routine with excellent priorities.

The times are precise. The activities are negotiable.

  1. Plant parent

    Begin with leaf inspection.

Water the fern. Compliment the fern. Pretend not to notice it has a better work–life balance.

    Leaf morale: excellent

  2. Creative time

    Make a happy little mess.

Open a fresh canvas. Use all six hands. Somehow lose the one brush currently needed.

    Brush count: suspicious

  3. Tea break

    Steep first. Decide later.

Four minutes for the tea. Nine minutes staring into the middle distance. Both are essential.

    Urgency level: 0%

  4. Rainy day

    Conduct puddle research.

The umbrella is serious equipment. The yellow raincoat is serious equipment. The splashing is peer review.

    Findings: still excellent

  5. Bathtime

    Put the inbox underwater.

Foam crown on. Tiny duck briefed. Absolutely no notifications past this point.

  6. After hours

    Tuck in every tentacle.

Six limbs under the blanket. One tiny dream still syncing. Tomorrow can wait by the kettle.
