Information kept on your device

Your dictionary activity stays local.

Dictionary searches, search history, preferences, saved words, learning lists, notes, study progress, reminders, and exported backups are stored locally on your device. Sensei Dictionary does not require an account and does not use this information for advertising or tracking.

Apple processes Lifetime Pro payments under Apple's privacy policy. Sensei Dictionary uses verified purchase information to unlock and restore Pro, and stores a signed purchase record securely in your device's Keychain to preserve offline access. We do not receive your payment-card details.

Optional diagnostics

You decide whether diagnostics are shared.

Crash, performance, and other technical diagnostic information is sent to Sentry only when you enable Share Diagnostics in Settings → Privacy. The option is off by default. The application configures Sentry not to send default personally identifying information and does not attach dictionary searches, notes, saved words, learning content, or advertising identifiers to diagnostic events.

Diagnostic information is used only to find crashes, performance regressions, and other reliability problems. It is not sold, used for advertising, or used to track you across apps or websites. Sentry processes this information as our service provider under its privacy terms.

You can withdraw permission at any time by turning off Share Diagnostics. That immediately stops future collection by the application. Diagnostic events already received are retained only for the period configured for the Sentry project and are then deleted. You may request deletion sooner using the contact address below.

Sharing and disclosure

We do not sell personal information.

Optional diagnostic data is disclosed only to Sentry for the reliability purpose described above. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the security and integrity of the application.

Children

Diagnostics remain off until enabled.

Sensei Dictionary does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Optional diagnostics are disabled until the device user enables them.

Your choices and requests

Your data stays under your control.

You can clear search history from Settings, remove learning data from within the application, delete exported files using the Files app, and disable optional diagnostics at any time. For access or deletion questions concerning diagnostic information, contact support@Squiddy-Labs.com.

Changes

Material changes will be dated.

If this policy changes materially, the updated policy will be included in the application, published on this page, and its effective date will be revised.
